Oh my poor little neglected blog. I had so many plans to update you and time just got away from me. I was able to spend time with so many amazing families this Fall and I am almost done editing my 2011 sessions. I hope to post some photos very soon. In the meantime, one of my goals for 2012 is to work on personal projects and photograph my own children more often. I bought Jinky’s For the Love E-Book when it came out and I’ve been looking forward to getting started on some of the projects in the publication. I was very excited to see Kristin Cook’s January Photo-a-Day Project featured in the book. I love her work and always look forward to seeing her photos. If you haven’t seen her work before it is stunning. It is just one of several projects Jinky encourages photographers to try, so I thought since I know I can’t commit to a 365 (or 366) I would try a January Project. The idea is that you post one photo a day for the month of January. So, here we go. Of course, I couldn’t narrow it down to one photo, so I’m already off to a rocky start, but at least I have something! If you haven’t bought Jinky’s book yet and are looking for inspiration and eye candy, you can buy it here.
Oh, and Happy New Year for anyone who might actually be reading this.
