These are just a few photos from the Cheryl Jacobs Nicolai workshop that I was lucky enough to attend with nine amazing (and not to mention fun!) photographers in Denver, Colorado. Compared to how I normally shoot, I didn’t take a lot of photos at the workshop because I was more in awe of watching CJ work. I figured I could take photos anytime, but when would I be able to watch CJ work. I brought my film camera, but I don’t think I took one photo with it–it was too intimidating being around CJ and clumsily trying to use it. I felt like such a poser. That’s CJ in the last photo photographing her son.
