This sweet blue-eyed boy has been through much… so much that I often found myself wondering while reading his mother’s blog: how does she get through this? Her determination and strength have amazed me. But then I would remember… his mother is Theresa whom I have always thought was a force to be reckoned with. His first few months of life have been tough, no doubt, but it seems clear to me that Liam has his mother’s strength. I loved meeting you, Liam. I will never forget your sweet smiles, your powerful gaze, and your beautiful strong spirit. I feel so lucky and honored to have been able to capture these moments of you in such a happy place in time.

After reading Theresa’s posts about Liam not eating well, I think the photos of Theresa feeding Liam are my favorites. I love the smile on her face and the way they are intently looking at each other as if they are saying, “Look we did it.”

Notice the wisps of Liam’s red hair in these photos? We redheads stick together.
